The Beaverdam Depot was an instrumental possession for either side during the Civil War due to its proximity and the importance of the railroad to receive supplies for a large amount of troops.

The APBD’s primary mission is to preserve the Beaver Dam Depot.
Volunteers serve as Directors and Officers and comprise the non-profit Board.
Community support and fund-raising projects sponsored by the APBD have provided resources to preserve this valuable historic landmark.
